Basically, I am training both the owner and his dog. Ideally, I like to train the puppy on a one-to-one basis in the puppy’s home.

I noticed that dog training with dog owners, with all the best intentions, were basically treating their dogs as they would to another human.

Apparently, this is a major cause of behaviour problem with dogs.

As a result, it causes miscommunication between the owner and his dog, leading to frustration for the owner and can be distressing for the dog as well.

Henceforth it is important to establish a hierarchy and understanding between the owner and his dog.
